Lockdown was a time for reflection and an opportunity to spend a lot more hours in our studio. The elements of each painting are contained within a box - which is appropriate for an exhibition related to Covid 19 and ‘Lockdown’. The subject matter captures nostalgic iconic New Zealand toys from our childhood and other aspects of our Kiwi life. A time of happy carefree memories as a child with no concern for worldly issues.
