Commissioned for Socially Distanced Yet Creatively Connected, an exhibition in response to the global pandemic and inspired by our collective experience of lockdown.
Artist’s statement:
Reconnecting is about the joy of being back in touch, side by side, after lockdown. Some relationships being close and others a little more distanced.
We work with a professional packing company that help us ensure the sensitive, secure, packaging and shipping of artwork safely from our door to yours.

Memories of a happy childhood inspire Heather Wilson as she works. Patterns synonymous with the 60s and 70s, landmarks she remembers from family holidays, and the colours and symbols that surrounded her are captured in her art.
