This December, an artist is challenging our idea of abundance.
What if we already have more than we realise?
Abundance explores a question that feels increasingly relevant in a culture constantly telling us we need more.
More success. More experiences. More possessions. More productivity. More certainty.
We spend so much of our lives striving for what comes next that we can miss what is already here.
But what if abundance isn't about accumulation at all?
What if it's a way of seeing?
A way of being present enough to notice the colour in a flower, the warmth of the sun, the vastness of a landscape, the wildness of nature, a moment of connection or the feeling that arrives when something simply takes your breath away.
Through expressive paintings alive with colour, movement and emotion, Abundance celebrates the richness that exists in the world around us. The work isn't about recreating nature as we see it, but capturing something of how it feels to experience it.
The paintings are deliberately generous. Colour spills, shapes collide, horizons stretch, flowers emerge and disappear, and marks move across the surface. There is no attempt to contain everything neatly within the frame.
Because perhaps that's what abundance feels like.
Too much colour.
Too much beauty.
Too much life to hold onto.
Abundance marks the beginning of an ongoing body of work exploring how beauty, colour and painting can awaken emotion, restore presence and reconnect us with the experience of being fully alive.
At its heart, Abundance isn't about having more.
It's about noticing more.
Feeling more.
Being here for more of the life that's already happening.
Because abundance isn't accumulation.
