Meet The Team
Purchasing the Flagstaff Gallery in 2016 was a dream come true as I have always loved art. I run the Gallery as a family business with my husband, daughter and son involved when we have exhibitions and special events. Our aim is to create a vital link between artists and their audience, and for the Gallery to be an integral part of its local community. I particularly enjoy shaping the Gallery's vision for showcasing the incredible talent that we represent, as well as creating a warm and expressive environment for our visitors and fabulous team each day.
Head of Sales and Development
My role focuses on creating new opportunities for the Gallery, our Artists and our customers. I love ensuring that our business is constantly evolving by offering creative and innovative steps forward in how we work. I have always loved art, if I've not been painting then I've been studying it! By surrounding myself with art, I find that I am challenged, enriched and inspired to foster creativity in all areas of my life.
I have worked at the Flagstaff Gallery for over seven years now and have enjoyed a varied role in that time. From helping coordinate exhibitions to helping customers with their framing needs I am always excited to see the finished product. It makes me so happy to welcome our visitors to this beautiful, colourful, and inspiring space we have here, so we can share the many varied artworks from our very talented artists.
As gallery assistant I manage the daily workings of the gallery such has cataloguing, hanging and sales. I look after our online channels (web and social media) so that we can connect our artists and customers remotely. Through the study of Art History I have a deep appreciation of NZ Art and I enjoy seeing the way it enriches our communities and inspires our visitors.
