Ingrid Boot
'I have loved creating since childhood - always drawing people & faces. My grandpa painted so I would often use his paints. I am influenced mainly by beauty as well as fashion history, fashion photography and old things of a bygone era.
I was given a Vogue book on the history of 20th Century fashion for my 14th birthday which I still drool over frequently. My style is illustrative as a result of my further education and I always try to create a realistic quality in each piece.
I love the idea of capturing different eras and creating my own story or scene – they can be cheeky, quirky, calming or decadent - but they always show style and elegance.'
