Shane Gault

Shane Gault is a full-time teacher and a part-time artist who loves exploring how technology can be used to help express creative ideas.

The genesis for his drawings came from gazing at a huge Tapa cloth that was given to him as a gift many years ago. He was inspired by the simplicity of the patterns, drawn from nature, and began using them as the basis for his art. This now includes exploring similar ideas in 3D. A bit of a pop culture nerd from the 80’s, he is exploring classic 8-bit graphics represented in sculpture.
