'Natural Warm Shell Bloom' is the largest shell bloom of its kind. Made from forgotten treasures gathered along New Zealand coastlines, these shells are cleaned, filtered, and arranged into large abstract figures. In a quiet form of reincarnation, these shells, known as 'Battleaxe' shells, carry a sense of the eternal, a cycle of beauty held within the natural world. Simple and geometric, this series reimagines what would otherwise return to sand. The preservation of found natural objects sits at the heart of this work, and now these shells continue in a new life that invites contemplation and opens a space for creative expression to grow.
