This is Aotearoa as it once was—wild, untouched, timeless. These ancient Nikau palms are testament to what endures.
They have stood for centuries, perhaps longer, measuring time not in years but in seasons, in storms weathered, in slow growth upward toward light. These iconic native trees remind us that some things move too slowly to see, yet their persistence shapes everything. They invite us to reconsider what matters when measured against centuries rather than seconds.
