From the exhibition: Eye on Nature

The Kowhai and Tui are evolutionary partners, each shaped by the other's existence. The tree's tubular flowers perfectly match the curve of the Tui's beak for it to feed; the bird's movements ensure the tree's pollination and future generations. They belong to each other because this is where they are meant to be.

We recognize this truth instinctively—that profound sense of rightness when we find ourselves exactly where we should be. True belonging is reciprocal, essential, and written into the very fabric of who we are. It is arriving at the place that has been waiting for us all along.
